Which Bose Wave systems do your parts fit?

Our CD drives, control boards, 3-disc changers, and motherboard packages fit the popular Bose Wave music system family. If you're unsure your model is supported, email us with your model number and serial number — we'll confirm before you order.

How does the Exchange Program work?

You order a tested replacement. We ship it to you with a prepaid USPS return label inside the box. You install the replacement, put the original defective part in the same box, and ship it back within 30 days. Once we receive your core, we refund the core deposit to your original payment method within 5 business days.

What is a core deposit?

It's a fully refundable amount, shown separately at checkout, that secures the return of your original defective part. It's not a fee — you get it back as soon as we receive your core. The Motherboard Package does NOT carry a core deposit and does not require a core return.

What happens if I don't return my core?

If we don't receive your core within 30 days, or it arrives crushed, burned, or water-damaged so it can't be rebuilt, the core deposit is forfeited. We'll send reminder emails before that happens.

How long does shipping take?

Orders placed before 2:00 PM Eastern on a business day usually ship the same day via USPS Priority Mail. Most US addresses receive their package in 2 to 4 business days. See our Shipping & Returns page for details.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes — every replacement part carries a 90-day limited warranty from the date of delivery. See our Warranty page for what's covered and how to make a claim.

Can I install the parts myself?

Most of our customers do. Replacing the CD drive or control board takes basic hand tools and about 20 to 40 minutes. If you're not comfortable opening electronics, please use a qualified technician — installation is at your own risk.

Are you affiliated with Bose Corporation?

No. Heritage Sound Works is an independent service company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Bose Corporation. We use the Bose name only to describe the equipment our parts fit.

Do you offer wholesale or repair-shop pricing?

Yes. Repair shops and resellers can apply on our Business Accounts page. Approved accounts receive a coupon code (STEREOADVICE for current partners) giving 25% off product pricing. The core deposit is never discounted.
