By placing an order with Heritage Sound Works LLC ("Heritage Sound Works," "we," "us"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Who we are
Heritage Sound Works LLC is a family-owned business in Rhode Island, USA. We sell tested replacement components and operate an exchange program for Bose Wave music systems. Heritage Sound Works is an independent service company and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Bose Corporation. "Bose" and "Bose Wave" are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here solely to describe the equipment our parts fit.
2. Products and pricing
All prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude applicable taxes and shipping unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, refuse or cancel any order, and limit quantities. Wholesale pricing requires a valid coupon code and is not offered to retail customers.
3. The Exchange Program
The CD Drive and Control Board products are sold under our exchange program. Each carries a refundable core deposit shown separately at checkout. By placing an exchange order, you agree to return the original, matching defective part within 30 days of receiving your replacement, using the prepaid return label we provide.
- The returned core must be the same model the replacement was sold for, complete, and not crushed, burned, or water-damaged.
- Once the core is received and inspected, the core deposit is refunded to the original payment method within 5 business days.
- If the core is not returned within 30 days, or is returned in non-rebuildable condition, the core deposit is forfeited.
- The Motherboard Package is NOT part of the exchange program, requires no core return, and carries no core deposit.
- The Bose Wave 3-Disc Changer Repair Service is a repair service, not an exchange. Customers ship their changer to us first; we inspect, repair, clean, test, and return the original unit. No replacement changer is shipped in advance, and no core deposit is required.
4. Payment
Payment is processed by Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards. By placing an order you authorize the full charge, including the refundable core deposit where applicable.

6. Warranty
Replacement parts are covered by our limited warranty. See the Warranty Policy.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorized access, submit fraudulent orders, or use our parts for any illegal purpose.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Heritage Sound Works' total liability arising out of any product or order is limited to the amount you paid for that product. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of use of your Bose Wave system. Installation is performed at your own risk; if you are unsure, please use a qualified technician.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Rhode Island.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your order applies to that order.
